Additional information

Interest in heavy oils and their interaction with water has been the subject of much research over the past decades. This is set to rise, as increasingly more difficult to recover heavy oil resources are exploited. This paper investigates the interfacial properties of importance during the recovery and transportation of heavy oil. Although the impact of this study is yet to be realised, it is relevant to future heavy oil industrial developments.
