Additional information

Dr Ford provided the necessary complementary laboratory expertise in assessments of platelet pathophysiological function and data analysis and interpretation. She designed the laboratory protocol, selecting the appropriate assessments, and supervised these analyses of 51 patient samples. Dr Ford therefore made a distinctive and substantial contribution to the laboratory aspects of this study. Her expertise was vital for conducting the detailed study of platelet responsiveness to aspirin and for interpretation of the data. She was Corresponding Author for the paper and academic co-supervisor of the first named author.
