This paper presents two new system structures that characterise classes of multi-input multi-output uniformly observable systems. To date there is no general characterisation of multi-output uniformly observable systems for which one can design a high gain observer. This work is done in collaboration with University of Lyon and Grenoble (France). As a result of this work, Busawon was appointed as a Visiting Professor, by Professor Mohamed M'Saad at the CNRS lab GREYC, Caen, in order to further develop the research.
