Benchmark of experimental techniques for measuring and controlling suction
The round robin test presented in the paper results from joint research involving 8 major European Universities within the FP6 Marie Curie RTN MUSE 'Mechanics of Unsaturated Soils for Engineers'. The leading author was invited to present the work at the 2011 Géotechnique Symposium in Print ‘Partial Saturation in Compacted Soils’. This paper is becoming a reference for researchers in unsaturated soil mechanics when selecting experimental techniques and interpreting experimental data.
