Additional information

This paper was a proof of concept to test an innovative miniature resistivity array technique to detect and to follow the transport of a diesel plume in saturated soil under flow condition. This technique offers a cost effective way for industry to assess the performance of new remediation products on a scaled soil model. The success of this experimental setup is demonstrated by replication in China associated with a commercial e-resistance apparatus to monitor the LNAPL's contamination in both saturated or non saturated regions in the pressure less water sand layers.
