Additional information
Swept Up Lives offers a key intervention in debates around homelessness and urban revanchism, outlining new responses to homelessness driven by a postsecular politics. Though it draws on a limited amount of material published prior to 2008, which examined individual homeless services, this material has been substantially revised and extended (Chapters 4,5,6), added to with a consideration of new ‘homeless scenes’ (Chapter 7), and framed by entirely new arguments (Chapters 1 and 9). Only a small proportion of the book reproduces substantial parts of papers published prior to 2008 (pp22-36, 51-58, 213-236) or included in REF (EPD 2008, Chapter 3).
