Additional information

This massive work, produced by ten scholars under the leadership of Professor Cornell, is the first proper, and the largest, re-edition of the Roman historians who survive only in fragments since 1914. Oakley was responsible for the introduction, text, and translation, and commentary for C. Licinius Macer (vol. i.320–31, ii.672–97, and iii.418–49), Q. (and L.) Aelius Tubero (vol. i.361–67, ii.746–59, and iii.469–75), and Clodius Licinus (vol. i.482–83, ii.924–27, and vol. iii.560–63).
