I co-edited Human Sacrifice with Pierre Bonnechere. The editorial work, including the revision of individual chapters, the supervision of proofs, corrections, translations, compilation of references and the consolidated bibliography, etc., was equally shared between the two of us. My own main contribution to the volume is Chapter 5 (Athamas and Zeus Laphystios: Herodotus 7.197, 101–118). Chapter 1 (Le sacrifice humain: un phénomène au fil d’Ariane évanescent, 7–20), which is also an original contribution, was jointly written by me and Pierre Bonnechere.
