Additional information

This paper is the result of a project funded by the British Council. Privacy and integrity of medical images is a paramount factor for the use of Telemedicine. This research proposes a method for digitally watermarking medical images to be sent over mostly insecure communication lines ensuring that the end results have not been tampered with under this process. The system had undergone a seven days/50 hours clinical validation in the A&E ward of Central Middlesex Hospital, London and was found to be applicable to all medical modalities.
