This paper presents the precise quantification of space-weather effects on GNSS signals at high latitudes using independent measurements from the EISCAT radar. Forte was PI on the radar project and led this international collaboration. Forte led a team of PhD students in the signal analysis work. This contributed to the award of a research grant (PI, Forte) from the EU FP7 (MISW). The work is interdisciplinary with Physics.
