Additional information

The work used a numerical code developed at Cranfield in collaboration with Cambridge University (Prof Cant, stewart.cant@eng.cam.ac.uk) and Daresbury Laboratories (Prof D Emerson, david.emerson@stfc.ac.uk). The code SENGA is now used in Australia (Prof E Hawkes, evatt.hawkes@unsw.edu.au), USA (Prof J Chen, jhchen@sandia.gov) and Canada (prof S Tullis, stullis@mcmaster.ca), and provides one of 3 UK codes nationally recognised by Daresbury laboratories for work in chemically reacting flows. It has been selected to bench mark the new national supercomputer ARCHER (Prof D Emerson, david.emerson@stfc.ac.uk)
