Additional information

This paper is an output from a project addressing static certification compliance of a next generation civil aircraft seat. Linking analysis-led-design, numerical simulation and experimental testing, technical outputs resulted in an automotive seat research project with Jaguar Landrover (Dr Tayeb Zegeur, tzeguer@jaguarlandrover.com). Also, sponsored by UK based SME Bluesky Designers Ltd (Dominic Robinson, djr@blueskydesignersltd.com), additional projects followed, as the company secured SEEDA (South East England Development Agency) product development grants in 2009 and 2010 for this collaboration.
