Dr Alexander Edwards made a substantial contribution to designing and executing the research and prior art searches and examination of background intellectual material that led up to the patent; to the original invention of the formulations claimed within the patent; to the conception, design and organisation of the supporting laboratory work exemplifying the patent claims; and carrying out the study including acquisition of study data plus analysis and interpretation of study data.
