Additional information

<15> Simple data mining rule models, which can be easily implemented in a clinical setting, were found to be as accurate as other more widely accepted regression models for predicting orthostatic hypotension. The ability to analyse routinely collected clinical data is key to unlocking knowledge about disease without expensive and time-consuming randomised trials. This paper contributes to this effort by promoting the use of data mining in medicine.
