Additional information

Real-time dynamic sub-structuring, sometimes referred to as hybrid testing, involves part-experimental part-numerical testing of structures. Paper proposes novel time-stepping algorithm for numerical models used in sub-structuring, simultaneously improving accuracy and computational efficiency of technique for testing non-linear structures. Paper is most-cited in journal since publication (Web of Science, 16/7/2013).
