Additional information

Paper reports first-ever development and use of novel robust low-cost particulate catalyst to instigate cure of epoxy resin self-healing agent in situ. This negates need for stoichiometric mixing of two-part epoxies and maintains function following exposure to typical composite industrial manufacturing techniques. Bond was invited to deliver plenary presentation [tinyurl.com/gen-eng-132] including this work at 8th Asian-Australasian Conference on Composite Materials (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2012).
