Additional information

<26> Sampling is a crucial process in computer graphics and our paper demonstrated the first bias-free maximal Poisson-disk sampling process that could be easily extended to higher dimensions. This has led to ongoing citations in the top computer graphics journals and conferences (ACM T Graphic, IEEE Trans Vis. Comput. Graph., Computer Graphics Forum, ACM Siggraph) and is used as a benchmark for timing experiments by Ebeida et al at Sandia National Laboratories. The paper [GoogleScholar: 24] was published in ACM T Graphics, which has an impact factor of 3.36. Our paper was subsequently invited for presentation at ACM Siggraph'2010.
