Additional information

<20>Approach provides a meaningful, practical framework for design sessions with children. This work contributed to the successful application for a multi-site £1.4m EPSRC grant TAKTEEN , using this to help design meaningful systems for teen energy engagement, and has been the subject of a Radio 4 programme . Coupled with a focus on ‘cool’ technologies, this has led to leading two workshops (IDC ’11, BCS HCI ‘11), and contributions to another (PINC ’11), and a CHI WIP, plus a PhD for Mazzone. Its wide applicability is evidenced by citations in medical device design and autistic support.
