<22>Typically results in theorem proving are achieved by expert parameter settings which trigger the proof search in a way which is hard to understand by non-experts; the approach taken in this paper allows for many problems a solution which is independent of such settings. It is the first paper in theorem proving which investigates this type of robustness (in contrast to the best possible time to solve a problem). The research reported in this paper can be seen as starting point for the combination of heterogeneous systems as later investigated in projects led by co-authors Jamnik and Benzmuller.
