Additional information

This is a continuation of a previous EPSRC funded project entitled ‘cost effective camera tracking in virtual studio production for real-time broadcasting’ (CAN EP/P500494/1). Camera tracking problems are prevalent in studios using automated camera systems. Our research examined whether techniques borrowed from mobile computing and robotics could solve this problem. The research showed that our sensor based algorithm can provide the required accuracy to satisfy the general requirement of a virtual studio.
