In addition to the individual chapter, Waters edited the special issue of e-France: an on-line Journal of French Studies, ‘L’ici et l’ailleurs’: Postcolonial Literatures of the Francophone Indian Ocean’ (2008), in which her chapter,‘From Continents Noirs to Collection Blanche: From Other to Same? The Case of Ananda Devi’ (pp. 55-74), is included. In addition to 100% of the editorial work, Waters wrote the general introduction (pp. 3-8) and co-organised, with Peter Hawkins (Bristol University), the international conference on which the special issue was originally based.
