This paper presents a study of long-term changes of the morphological processes of the Yellow River Delta. In particular, it has determined the relative contributions of natural and anthropogenic effects on the evolution of the delta from 1950 to 2007. In terms of the data used and analysis carried out, the work is the most comprehensive and systematic to date on the subject.
