Dr Rintoul is a Visiting Honorary Senior Fellow within the University of Cambridge. He is part funded by the Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre and Comprehensive Local Research Network. Within the University his main collaborators currently are Professor Sir Bruce Ponder and Professor Tim Eisen, developing a programme of research in the early detection of lung cancer. Dr Rintoul has also recently collaborated with Professor Gill Murphy in the Cambridge Cancer Research Institute (PhD co-supervisor for Dr Malcolm Lawson) and Professor Rebecca Fitzgerald (MD co-supervisor for Dr Natalie Cummings). Future projects will include collaborations with Professor Edwin Chilvers and Dr Nitzan Rozenfeld.
