Additional information

<20>This paper proposes and evaluates a technical solution to the problems of high network latencies and limited battery life that can make mobile web browsing a frustrating experience, and demonstrates that calendars can really provide information that can be used to prefetch useful Internet content for mobile users. This work has been built on by Gonzalez and Hong in their GurunGo system that monitors a person's activities on their PC for kinds of data likely to be useful to a person when mobile, and extended by Sulaiman et al in their work on rough sets in optimizing mobile web caching.
