It was assessed by EPSRC as ‘Tending to outstanding’ and the Research Quality as ‘Internationally leading’. A novel decision support system was developed to support the inventory control decision making in uncertain environments. A simulation tool was integrated in the decision support system to enable analysis of the performance of the proposed models.
