This paper details the design and implementation of the unique Networked Control System Laboratory established in the University of Glamorgan on http://www/ncslab.net, which provides a unified and flexible Web-based interface to access test rigs located in different countries. This work has been further developed in 3 journal papers co-authored by G.P.Liu, published in IEEE journals. This led to 3 international collaboration projects, funded by the Royal Society, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University.
