Additional information

For this output, Matthias adapted the phenomenological integrate and fire model to include a sonification mechanism to illustrate the changes in the firing patterns of the fusiform cells when acoustically over-exposed. This paper, for which Matthias produced 8 sound files, has an accompanying video (available as supplementary data online) which includes the sound patterns that illustrate these changes from both the auditory and somatosensory pathway.
