UEGM: uncertain emotion generator under multi-stimulus
<26> The paper presents a novel particle filtering architecture to simulate/predict uncertain emotion generation under multi-stimulus, to enrich virtual characters’ emotions. This work advances the state-of-the-art, and offers the most complete set of emotion models including: appraisals and emotion transform mechanism; multiple emotion types; diversified emotion generation model; and supports primary and secondary emotion levels, and multi-stimulus. This work outclasses all the best state-of-the-art related systems. The paper was selected as one of the best papers of CASA-2011 for a special issue in the journal. The work is the outcome of collaboration between El-Rhalibi and the other authors in China.
