Additional information

This paper leads to the development of an effective additive package for biofuel in diesel engines to enable clean combustion and prevent the deterioration of exhaust emissions and injector deposit build up. This was a collaborative research project with fuel additive industry, Innospect Ltd (Steve.Cook@innospecinc.com). The work has attracted biofuel and transport industry attentions and resulted in a TSB grant with United Biscuits UK Limited distribution center and Biomotive Fuels Limited (grant number 400274). This is a 28 months industry led collaborative project with a total value of £210k.
