Additional information

First ever human study to identify that the traditional failure to account for plasma volume shifts in patients with arterial hypoxaemia has serious implications during the clinical assessment of haemostasis. This concept is currently being considered by clinical biochemists in local hospitals including the NISCHR Haemostasis Biomedical Research Unit, Morriston Hospital, Swansea, c/o Prof PA Evans.
