Additional information

This paper is a significant contribution in the modelling, stabilization and control of complex systems with sensors and actuators as part of a control system. Apart from uncertainties in plant operation, sensors and actuators are subject to random faults. In addition, in a networked control system signal transfer is subject to time delay and possible loss. Further challenges come from the nonlinear nature of the system to be controlled. The theoretical contribution and potential applications have been recognized by some top researchers in this area.
