Prof. Savic’s work aimed at bringing the power of optimisation to engineering practice resulted in the tool that provides easy access to powerful multiobjective optimisation to non-specialists, engineers and scientists. There are over 400 users of this tool worldwide (http://tinyurl.com/czbxe62), including university students, lecturers/instructors, practicing scientist/engineers, and companies such as Hydro International, Veolia, Mouchel, RPS Water, JP Morgan, SCION Research, etc. The work has led to further development of the commercial tool "AquatorGA" with Oxford Scientific Software (http://www.oxscisoft.com/aquator/optimisation.aspx chris.green@oxscisoft.com) and its practical application in United Utilities (MarkA.Smith@uuplc.co.uk), Welsh Water (Brian.Cox@atkinsglobal.com) and Thames Water (kevin.mountain@thameswater.co.uk).
