Assessment of high-integrity embedded automotive control systems using hardware in the loop simulation
The techniques developed in this paper have influenced others working in a range of areas requiring real-time simulation with representative hardware e.g. vehicular system simulation (Wang et al., Journal of System Simulation 24(12), pp. 2473-2478), robotic control (Hamelin et al., International Journal of Robotics and Automation 27(2), pp. 141-150) and Embedded Systems (Zandrahimi et al., Microelectronics Journal 43 (1) , pp. 77-87; Pont, Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik 125 (11) , pp. 401-405). The paper has been influential in shaping product development in the embedded control systems industry (see http://www.tte-systems.com/technology or email Dr. Michael Pont: m.pont@le.ac.uk, former CEO of TTE Systems Ltd).
