Additional information

<28> This paper focused on describing the ContraCancrum project. The key contribution is to the advancement of in silico oncology through the optimization of cancer treatment in the patient-individualised context by simulating the response to various therapeutic regimens. The paper described a novel paradigm for designing clinically driven multi-scale cancer modelling. The integration of the multi-scale tumour modelling components has led to personalised clinical decision support. The work was pioneer at the time. The solution proved to be well accepted for the future health care. The work set a foundation and led to two further EU projects.
