This book was one of the outcomes of a 2-year, €100,000 project funded by the ‘Culture Programme 2007-2013’, EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) - DREAM (Digital Re-appropriation of Electroacoustic Music) (http://dream.dei.unipd.it). The project’s aim was to investigate the original analogue equipment at the studio di fonologia at the RAI broadcasting studios in Milan during the 1950s. The equipment is now permanently installed in the musical instrument museum at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan.
