Additional information

This paper realises and advances Artificial Immune Systems. This research was conducted through direct funding from Dstl (PJHICKEY@mail.dstl.gov.uk.) The detection system was tested in harsh external conditions and was able to detect chemicals of interest. The success of this work has led to a further research contracts with Dstl developing the approach for dynamically changing environments.
