Additional information

This paper represents a continuation of work on the general theory of interval- and point-based time, which was developed and published by the team at Greenwich. The main impact of this work is that it allows the expression of “OR” into temporal relations between time elements. It shows that we can represent statements such as a is “before” OR “meets” b in a graphical manner. It also shows how the consistency of such a graph is derived. This work is foundation for later papers by the group on business process modelling and on the consistency checker.
