Foucault in an age of terror: essays on biopolitics and the defence of society

As well as contributing the final essay, 'Foucault, Auden and Two New York Septembers', I co-editied the collection as a whole, which derives from a series of three symposia I ran with Stephen Morton funded by the British Academy and held at Southampton in 2007 and 2008. All work was shared equally: we invited the speakers, chaired all panels, commissioned and edited all submissions. We proposed the volume to Palgrave's Philosophy Editor and wrote the Introduction together. We liaised with authors throughout, fielding enquiries through the processes of draft and revision, copy-editing, indexing, and final proof stage.
