This paper represents one of our first outputs in the area of systems biology where we use in-silico models to analyse cell image and flow cytometry data. The work is in collaboration with colleagues in the School of Medicine at Cardiff University. It takes the first steps in automating the analysis of flow data which will be extended to data from patients’ blood samples in hospitals in Wales. This work has culminated in me being award an EPSRC International Sabbatical Fellowship (EP/J00619X/1) to work in the Broad Institute (Harvard and MIT) in Boston.
