Additional information

Grigera and Tennant conceived the idea of this experiment and subsequently shared the European Physical Society prize for it. Grigera worked on the isotopic crystal growth needed for these experiments, and on the development and construction of the magnetometer in St Andrews used for the measurements. He measured the magnetisation in collaboration with his PhD student D. Slobinsky in St Andrews, and performed the neutron experiments in HZB Berlin together with J. Morris, B. Klemke, K. Rule and A. Tennant.
