Additional information

<16>The studied problem is becoming increasingly important due to the spread of social networks and the necessity of having multiple user accounts across various social sites. This paper is often referenced as one of the early papers that investigated the merging and analysis of tagging information from multiple social media sites to generate semantic models of user interests. The user models produced in this work were later used in two follow-up EU projects on online community management and analysis (EU WeGov and EU ROBUST). This work also prompted ReelLives, a new EPSRC project (http://gow.epsrc.ac.uk/NGBOViewGrant.aspx?GrantRef=EP/L004062/1) funded under the Digital Personhood theme.
