A two-dimensional isogeometric boundary element method for elastostatic analysis
This research is a key development in iso-geometric analysis (IGA) and has initiated collaboration with other IGA research in groups located in China (Xiamen Uni.), Chile (Uni. of Chile), Austria (JKU, Linz) and Italy (IMATI CNR). The research received a prize for best post-doctorate work at annual meeting of the UK Association of Computational Mechnanics in 2011, and has instigated further collaborative research with Prof. Hughes, ForMemRS, University of Texas at Austin (Contact: hughes@ices.utexas.edu), into more advanced IGA algorithms. The open-source algorithms (https://github.com/bobbiesimpson/Isogeometric-BEM) are now used by several IGA research groups to further advance the field.
