This is the first output of the electroweak effort on LHCb which I initiated, established and led. I coordinated the W and Z analyses contained in the paper (which represents the output of some 20 physicists). I devised the event preselections, established the triggers and filtering lines, carried out Final State Radiation correction calculations, and cross-checked many components of the analysis. I also helped to steer this through the many levels of LHCb editorial procedure.
