This work was carried out in the context of neuGRID project (3 Million-Euros/FP7). This work resulted in two PhD and two MPhil theses. In neuGRID, a services based platform was produced that can process thousands of brain images across Grid based data centres in Europe. A follow-up project called neuGRID for you (N4U, 2.8 Million-Euros) has been funded under the FP7 programme No. 283562 to develop tools and technologies for enhancing the image analysis capabilities of scientific communities.
