Additional information

<28>This paper presents an algorithm for detecting consensus domain architectures for protein sequences together with their functional annotation. GFam has been developed through collaboration with the TAIR project (the official repository for the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana). It has been successfully used on Arabidopsis and the family groupings it provided for Arabidopsis has been included in the official TAIR10 genome release. This work is currently being extended and implemented on GPUs through BBSRC grant BB/K004131/1. Paccanaro is senior corresponding author.
