Anderson: Honorary Professor of the University of Southampton. Interview Chair for the Graduate School of National Oceanography Centre Southampton. Has co-supervised four students with UoS staff over census period – Ben Ward (with Oschlies), Jennifer Durden (with Trueman), Samuel Lew (with Moore) and Melissa Saeland (with Bullock from Electronics and Computer Science). Co-investigator on NERC Consortium grant with Bryden: Transport and storage of nutrients, carbon and heat in the subtropical North Atlantic ocean. Joint publications with Dan Mayor and Ben Ward (Southampton PhDs). Teaches and co-ordinates SOES6021 - Ecological Modelling, which is a masters level course at the University of Southampton.

Joint research grants: Antarctic Deep Water Rates of Export (ANDREX) - with Naveira Garabato2008-2013; Arctic Synoptic Basin-wide Oceanography with Naveira Garabato 2007-2012. Selected QSR paper is co-authored by 2 UoS PhDs and Rohling.

Connelly: Co-supervision of 15 UoS PhD students during the census period including Milani (with Statham), Rerolle (with Achterberg), Legiret (with Achterberg), Meier (with Keevil from Biological Sciences), Klar (with Milton), Owsianka (with Achterberg), Hunt (with Teagle), Hawkes (with Achterberg), Boulart (with Statham), Lough (with Mills), Graves (with Mills), Hopwood (with Statham), Esposito (with Achterberg). Connelly has many joint grants with UoS staff including NERC QICS grant (with Hauton and Bull), NERC major grant "Hydrothermal activity and deep-ocean biology of the Mid-Cayman Rise" with Jon Copley 2009-2014. Joint EU grants include MOMARNET FP6 ITN with Sinha. SENSENET FP7 ITN (with Achterberg and Statham) SENSEOCEAN FP7 (with Acterberg, and Morgan from Electronics and Computer Science), ECO2 FP7 grant (with Bull, Hauton). Three of four selected outputs are co-authored with UoS Cat A staff, and three are co-authored with UoS PhD students.

Joint publications with Cat A. staff Beaulieu submitted as outputs.

Josey: Honorary Professor of the University of Southampton. Co-supervision of two PhD students with UoS Staff - Tzortzi with Wells, and Jacobs with Marsh. Joint NERC RAPID watch grant "Meridional Overturning circulation at 26N and the North Atlantic heat COtent (MONACO)" with Wells (2009-2013). Three of the four outputs selected are jointly authored with UoS staff: Tsimplis, Bryden and Marsh, respectively. Many publications co-authored with Marsh.
