This book of 265pp presents the principal results of a collaborative multidisciplinary research project lasting from 2008-2013 that involved more than 10 different research teams with members from a range of universities, museums, private companies, local authorities and national heritage agencies. SC Turner was PI, managed the project, wrote the majority of the text, and edited the volume. In addition to research results specific to the project, the book outlines an innovative methodology for analysis of historic buildings in the context of urban landscapes that was developed during the project.
