A simple low temperature synthesis route for ZnO-MgO core-shell nanowires
The work demonstrated a cost-effective and scalable process for producing large arrays of nanowires for display and photovoltaic applications. EC grant INNOVASOL awarded with 6 European partners [EC FP7 CP, RG49684, 2009, Total: GBP2.48M, Welland share: GBP311,700]. Part of EPSRC Nanotech Grand Challenge: Energy grant [RG51308, 2008, Total: GBP1.336M, Welland share: GBP173,795].
