Significance of output:

This international collaboration addressed a major deficiency in the behavioural framework approach to robust control. The paper presents a complete reworking of the classical key gap topology and metric distance concepts within the behavioural framework; this constitutes, for the first time, a complete behavioural interpretation of the landmark H-infinity results (Doyle, Glover et al), cast within the behavioural setting of Trentelman and Willems. This work contributed towards the award of an EPSRC grant (EP/F035950/1 £287,173).
