Additional information

This special issue of the Journal of British Cinema and Television on ‘Radical Television Drama’ grew out of a season of screenings, discussions, lectures and interviews, entitled ‘United Kingdom!: Radical Television Drama Before and During Thatcher’, that Hill co-curated at BFI Southbank (November-December 2009). Hill conceived the special issue, commissioned the articles, wrote the Introduction (pp. 106-11) and contributed his own essay ‘From Five Women to Leeds United!: Roy Battersby and the Politics of “Radical” Television Drama’ (pp.130-50).
